  • What is the attire on board Regent ships?

Attire ranges from Casual to Formal Optional. Casual wear consists of resort-style outfits; some examples are nice jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime both on board or ashore. Casual wear is not appropriate after 6 p.m., with the exceptions of while dining at the Pool Grill or Pool Bar and on the final evening of the cruise. On the night prior to disembarkation, guests may need to pack their luggage early due to morning flights the next day. With this in mind, on the last night of every voyage, Regent will relax the dress code for dinner to Casual.

Otherwise, the recommended onboard dress in the evenings is Elegant Casual. Dinner dress for ladies includes a skirt, or slacks with a blouse or sweater, a pant suit or dress; slacks and a collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport jackets are optional. Casual wear is not to be worn at dinner, once again with the exceptions of while dining at the Pool Grill and on the final evening of the cruise. Ties are not required.

On sailings of 16 nights or more, Formal and Semi-Formal attire is optional on two of the evenings. On the two Formal Optional evenings, guests are welcome to dress as per the elegant Casual dress code or opt for a more formal choice of clothing including gowns and cocktail dresses for ladies; tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits with tie for gentlemen.

  • Are there medical services available on board?

Each ship has a licensed and registered doctor and nurse for professional and emergency services, which are available at customary charges. The ships' medical centers are designed to provide medical care for certain temporary illnesses and accidents, and are not intended or capable of providing on-going treatment of pre-existing medical conditions. For guests requiring oxygen equipment, an oxygen concentrator is the only form of oxygen equipment allowed aboard ship, and must be provided by the guest. Regent Seven Seas Cruises' wheelchairs on board are for emergency purposes only.

  • Do I still need to tip staff since gratuities are included?

Gratuities are included in the cruise fare on all Regent cruises. If guests feel strongly about expressing their gratitude to the crew or want to recognize someone special, they should be encouraged to make a donation to the Crew Welfare Fund at the Purser Office. This money is utilized for crew parties and events.

  • Are there menu options for those with special diets?

Yes, please contact your CruiseInsider advisor at least 90 days in advance of your sailing so that we may provide Regent with your preferred selections. General dietary needs such as low salt, low cholesterol foods or vegeteraian and vegan can be satisfied onboard the ship through menu selections or just by speaking with the dining wait staff.

For guests who keep kosher, the chefs of Regent Seven Seas Cruises have worked with Gourmet Kosher to provide up to 70 kosher meal options, prepared with the finest USDA Certified glatt kosher meats, Grade A produce and ingredients, in facilities which are under strict Rabbinical supervision and daily USDA inspection. Each meal is frozen and delivered to the ship in double-wrapped packaging to allow the kosher meals to be reheated in non-kosher ovens. Each meal is served on kosher china with proper flatware.

While Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ vessels do not have separate kosher kitchens, guests may also order a variety of kosher meats that can be cooked to taste (medium, well done, etc.) in addition to the Gourmet Kosher meal options. Please note that although the food is kosher, the onboard preparation and galley environments are not.

Additionally, kosher meals are available in Compass Rose restaurant, however kosher meals cannot be served in other restaurants at this time.

  • Is there shopping onboard?

The ships' boutiques offer a selection of designer fashions, perfumes and Regent Seven Seas Cruises logo items. Toiletries and convenience items are also available for purchase. The boutiques may be closed occasionally while in port due to local government regulations.

  • Are there business services available?

Business equipment is available, including fax machine and copy services. Fax reception is complimentary; fax transmission and ship-to-shore phone calls are available at standard tariffs. For a nominal fee, guests may send or receive e-mail via computers on board. The only Adobe-based software available onboard is Acrobat Reader.

FREE Unlimited Wi-Fi is included in the cruise fare and guests may access the internet throughout the entirety of all of our ships, including all suites, public rooms and outdoor decks. Guests may enjoy general web browsing, post photos to social media or check their email to stay seamlessly stay connected with friends and family. Guests sailing in Concierge Suites and higher, as well as Seven Seas Society members who have reached Gold-level status and higher, receive up to four logins, four devices, per suite.

  • Can I pre-book my shore excursions in advance?

Yes, shore excursions may be reserved online beginning 180 days before your cruise sails, or 240 days for guests eligible for Regent's Concierge Amenities. To do so, please contact your CruiseInsider advisor who can guide you through the steps on Regent's website, or you can go directly to Regent's website and access the Book Excursions link for your cruise via the Booked Cruises tab.

Any Regent Choice Shore Excursions reserved in advance—extra excursions not included in your fare—must be paid for at time of confirmation using a major credit card.

  • What can shipboard credit be applied to pre-cruise?

Shipboard credits may be applied toward the purchase of Regent Choice Shore Excursions (those not included in the fare), Executive Collection/Private Car Tours and Culinary Arts Kitchen Classes aboard Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor.

Shipboard credits may not be applied towards pre-cruise spa treatments, casino advances, land programs, hotel packages or transfers.

Upon completing your first voyage, you are automatically welcomed into the Seven Seas Society®, Regent's esteemed family of past guests. Benefits include priority online shore excursion and dining reservations, FREE garment pressing and Wi-Fi, plus instant recognition at the Silver level for first-time guests sailing 21 nights or more.
